A Time to Celebrate

Today I want to celebrate gaining 20 blog followers! I know to most people that may not seem like a big accomplishment but it means the world to me.

None of my followers are family members or friends and I am actually happy about that. It means the people, you, that have decided to subscribe to my blog are actually interested in what I have to say. You don’t feel obligated. I love that feeling.

When I first started this venture in December I was sure it would take me months before I even gained 5 loyal readers. Blogging is not an easy thing. There are so many factors involved. I’m learning SEO, watching YouTube videos on photography (I don’t even have the greatest camera), practicing makeup to improve my skills, & working on creating content you will actually be inclined to read.

Instead of focusing on what I can’t do and who I’m not reaching, I’ve decided to focus on the opposite. Yes, I do hope to gain a larger audience but I will faithfully write for you. Everything will happen in time at the right time.

For those of you who interact with me by liking+commentng, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. This is just the beginning and I feel honored to have you in my corner.
